Salary/Hourly Rate:
$85K - $125K

Position Overview:
The Packaging Innovation Manager will lead packaging development projects from initial concept through to market launch, working closely with diverse teams. Focus areas for the Packaging Innovation Manager include new packaging initiatives, efficiency improvements, and quality enhancements across various product types.

Responsibilities of the Packaging Innovation Manager:
  • Partner with external suppliers and internal teams to develop packaging solutions, finalize specifications, and ensure quality standards.
  • Drive technical milestones for custom packaging components.
  • Explore and apply new packaging technologies and sustainable practices.
  • Monitor project progress, addressing challenges and planning contingencies.
  • Design and execute testing protocols and production trials.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance to resolve manufacturing issues.
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends and update documentation accordingly.
  • Source and evaluate new suppliers to enhance packaging capabilities and cost-effectiveness.
  • Support marketing efforts by contributing to packaging designs that align with brand objectives.
Required Experience/Skills for the Packaging Innovation Manager:
  • 6+ years of relevant experience, preferably in the beauty or consumer packaged goods industries.
  • Proven expertise with custom primary packaging development.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly acquire new technical knowledge.
  • Adaptable and proactive mindset suited to a fast-paced, transparent work environment.

Education Requirements:
