A day in this role
You arrive on the production floor, confirm the correct materials and labels for the run, and power up your line. As batches move through, you keep a close eye on performance indicators, making real-time adjustments to keep output steady and safe. Throughout the shift, you inspect seals, weights, and labels; document batches with precision; and jump in for quick changeovers and cleaning so the next product can launch without delay.
What you’ll handle
Operate and adjust packaging machinery per product and process parameters
Verify materials and labels are correct before startup
Continuously monitor machine performance during production
Check finished goods for seal integrity, accurate weight, and correct labeling
Confirm packaging and product meet all specifications and counts
Complete batch record documentation accurately and on time
Assist with line changeovers and perform equipment cleaning
What you bring
High school diploma
1–2 years operating manufacturing equipment with familiarity in manufacturing processes, GMP, and SOPs
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 pounds
Proficiency in food and beverage manufacturing and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
