Your 30/60/90-Day Roadmap
- Day 1–30: Learn our PLC-driven packaging systems, CGMP expectations, FDA standards, and documentation flows. Shadow operators and practice safe forklift operations.
- Day 31–60: Own a station: prep and assemble packaging materials with hand tools, execute in-process quality checks, and record accurate logs and reports.
- Day 61–90: Lead small improvements: troubleshoot issues, refine settings, and drive a continuous improvement project in your area.
Core Responsibilities
- Run packaging equipment and PLC interfaces to maintain steady production.
- Assemble and stage packaging materials using mechanical aptitude and hand tools.
- Monitor processes for compliance with FDA regulations and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices).
- Perform routine inspections of packaged products and correct inconsistencies.
- Document activities thoroughly—logs, lot records, and production reports.
- Operate a forklift and apply warehouse best practices to move and track inventory safely.
- Support related assembly work for packaging components as needed.
What You Bring
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Basic driving ability; forklift experience is a plus.
- General computer competency for systems and recordkeeping.
- Manufacturing background—especially in a food-safe environment—is a plus.
- Self-directed with strong critical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills to work safely without direct supervision.
- Ownership mindset, initiative, and a collaborative, team-first attitude.
- Desire and capability to create and execute continuous improvement projects.
- Fluent in English (read, write, speak) for clear cross-team communication.
