Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable Packaging Machine Operator to operate and assist with packaging equipment and production processes. This position involves setting up and operating packaging machinery, preparing materials, packaging finished products, and maintaining a clean and organized production area.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate packaging machines according to established procedures.
• Operate production equipment used for packaging products.
• Load and feed bottles and packaging components into equipment.
• Fill, secure, label, and package products according to specifications.
• Monitor machines during production runs and make necessary adjustments.
• Set up and adjust bottle cappers, labelers, sealers, and other packaging equipment.
• Verify labels, seals, bottle sizes, and packaging quality.
• Package finished products and load boxes onto pallets.
• Separate defective labels, seals, or products for rework.
• Assist with rework and transfer products into new containers when necessary.
• Prepare components and materials for upcoming production runs.
• Perform quality checks and assist the Quality Control team.
• Clean and sanitize machines, equipment, and production areas.
• Maintain a clean and organized packaging area.
• Assist other teams with packaging and production duties.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment as needed.
• Move finished products and materials throughout the facility.
• Follow cGMP, FDA, safety, and company procedures.
• Complete required production and batch documentation.
• Perform other packaging-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous packaging, machine operation, production, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Entry-level candidates with the ability to learn and follow detailed procedures are encouraged to apply.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and SOPs.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Must follow company drug-free workplace policies.
• Ability to safely operate or learn to operate packaging and material-handling equipment.

Work Details

• Full-time position in Camarillo, CA.
• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM–2:30 PM.
• 2nd Shift: 2:15 PM–10:45 PM.
• Requires standing, walking, lifting, bending, stooping, climbing, and pulling throughout the workday.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently.
• Must be able to maintain a production pace of approximately 25–40 bottles per minute.
• May require working longer than a typical 8-hour shift.
• Work environment requires following strict safety, cleanliness, and product-quality procedures.

Additional Info

This is a hands-on production position for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating machinery in a fast-paced environment. Training will be provided on company-specific equipment and procedures.
