OVERVIEW:
The Packaging Mechanic B is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and supporting packaging and production equipment within the Distribution Center. This position works primarily on the production floor and ensures machinery operates safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime. The role requires basic mechanical knowledge, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 1 year of mechanical experience required; 2 years preferred.
Basic knowledge of:
Mechanical systems and tools of the trade
Hydraulic systems
Pneumatic systems
Gauges and other indicator systems
Safety experience and familiarity with OSHA standards.
Must possess common mechanic tools.
Must successfully pass the mandatory Scientific Management Test.
