We are a true farm-to-table company with an integrated portfolio including food processing and food brands, phosphate mining, fertilizer manufacturing, farming, ranching and cattle production, and other enterprises related to agriculture. **Summary** The Packaging Mechanic diagnoses packaging equipment problems, repairs minor and major breakdown of high-speed packaging equipment, sets up and installs all packaging equipment, performs preventative maintenance items, improves line efficiencies, and ensures all equipment is in safe working condition. **Key Responsibilities** **Typical Education** High school diploma or general education degree (GED) **Relevant Experience** 3+ years related experience and/or training **Required Certifications** **Other Information** + Good knowledge of Computer Systems. + Experience with troubleshooting mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and electronic Systems. + Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. + Ability to balance multiple tasks, be flexible and work well under pressure. + Ability to work in refrigerated and frozen environments. + Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision and exercise good judgment.
