Job Description

Sirius Staffing is seeking experienced Chemical Packaging Tech 2 professionals for a temp-to-perm opportunity within a safety-focused manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on production role supporting chemical packaging, labeling, and filling operations in a regulated facility.

Schedule & Pay:
  • Monday-Friday
  • 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
  • $22.50/hour
  • Temp-to-perm potential
Important Logistics:
  • Candidates must be clean shaven daily due to respirator requirements
  • Physical exam and respirator fit testing required
  • Onsite interviews will be conducted
  • Resumes must be fully updated and accurate - candidates may be declined for discrepancies or outdated information
  • Strong, stable work history is required (no excessive job hopping)
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Stage, fill, cap, label, and overpack liquid, powder, and lyophilized chemical products
  • Perform manual and semi-automated chemical packaging operations
  • Follow approved packaging specifications and ISO procedures
  • Complete packaging and inventory documentation accurately
  • Maintain compliance with all safety and quality procedures
  • Support team operations and assist with training as needed
Required Qualifications:
  • 5-6 years of experience in a chemical packaging or manufacturing environment
  • Experience handling chemicals, mixing, labeling, and packaging products
  • Basic math proficiency
  • Basic computer and data entry skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs with lifting equipment
  • High School Diploma or GED required
Preferred Qualifications:
  • SAP experience or familiarity
  • ISO, pharmaceutical, or biotech manufacturing experience

Work Environment:
This role requires the use of PPE including respirators, air helmets, masks, safety shoes, aprons, rubber/Tyvek suits, protective gloves, and safety glasses/goggles while working in a chemical production environment.
