Seeking a Packaging Operator for a 12.5-hour rotating shift (7 am-7 pm and 7 pm-7:30 am) in Athens, GA, with a 6-month duration.
Pay rates are $22.50/hr on W2 for Shift A and $24.75/hr with shift diff for Shift B.
The role involves operating automated packaging lines at speeds up to 450 tubes per minute, handling packaging materials, maintaining cleanliness, performing autonomous and preventive maintenance, and managing inventory.
Focus on safety, compliance, quality checks, documentation, process improvements, and cost reduction.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, ability to work 12-hour shifts, basic computer skills, and physical ability to lift up to 55 pounds. Preferred skills include manufacturing experience, machinery maintenance, effective communication, and operating material handling equipment.
