Key responsibilities (May include but not limited to):      

  • Presentable uniform appearance is required.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and housekeeping of the area assigned.
  • Comply with safety, security and quality requirements.
  • Inspect and certify containers
  • Label/stencil containers
  • Perform Manufacturing Orders in M3
  • Participate in APQP’s, PSM’s and MOC’s relevant to packaging operations
  • Maintain logs/appropriate forms
  • Operate filling machines to meet needs of the specified orders
  • Perform container to container transfers
  • Able to operate a forklift to move containers around during the filling process
  • Participate in spill response

Required Education / Training / Equivalent Experience (Prior to hire / transfer):

  • High School education or equivalent (GED)
  • Chemical Handling or filling related experience and/or training
  • Working knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations
  • Knowledge of chemical hazards and labeling requirements
  • Knowledge of chemical segregation requirements
  • Knowledge of appropriate regulatory/safety requirements
  • Good communication skills

OJT (Required within the initial employment period – varies per position and experience):

  • Applicable M3 skills
  • Understand all applicable procedures, work instructions, forms, checklists, etc.
  • Knowledgeable of products and business strategies
  • Familiar with the Responsible Distribution Process
  • Knowledgeable of plant emergency and security procedures
  • Problem / crisis resolution
  • 24 hour HAZWOPER course
  • Training requirements from the New Employee Checklist
