The Packaging Tech 2nd Shift position in Durham, NC is a 9-month role operating from 2:30-11 PM, Monday to Friday, with regular weekend OT. The pay rate is $18.15/hr, with no overtime pay available.
Responsibilities include operating high-speed, automated equipment for manufacturing and packaging, maintaining cGMP compliance, performing setup, troubleshooting, cleaning, and completing batch documentation, inspections, and reworks.
Requirements: a minimum HS diploma or GED, 0-1 years of regulated production experience, proficiency with automated equipment preferred, knowledge of OSHA, GMP, and mechanical skills advantageous. Ability to learn new procedures quickly, work safely, and work overtime is essential. Physical demands include standing, climbing stairs, operating pallet jacks, and handling hazardous materials while wearing PPE.
Additional duties involve data reporting, validation, and adhering to safety policies to support continuous 24/7 operations.
