Clinical Label Operator

Location: Lake County, IL – Onsite
Pay: $23–$25/hour
Schedule: Onsite

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Clinical Label Printer to support label generation and inspection activities for clinical studies. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone who demonstrates strong attention to detail, reliability, interpersonal skills, and a willingness to learn.

The Clinical Label Printer will execute label printing using a global IT system, inspect printed materials for quality and accuracy, maintain label inventory, and ensure all work is completed in accordance with applicable cGMP procedures and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute clinical label printing using a global IT system and select appropriate printing options to ensure optimal print quality.
• Inspect printed labels for accuracy, quality, and quantity with meticulous attention to detail.
• Verify the accuracy of randomization ranges.
• Print blind-breaker and randomization envelopes for clinical studies.
• Maintain label stock and inventory within the label room.
• Receive third-party printed labels and prepare labels and associated documentation for inspection.
• Complete assigned activities accurately and within established timelines.
• Provide ongoing status updates and communicate effectively regarding assigned work.
• Ensure all work complies with applicable cGMP requirements, procedures, and guidelines.
• Maintain current completion of all required training.
• Adapt to changing priorities while maintaining accuracy and quality.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong aptitude and ability to learn new processes and systems.
• Dependable and reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Proven ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.

• Ability and willingness to follow established procedures and work within a highly regulated environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of clinical trial design or clinical packaging processes.
• Understanding of cGMP requirements and regulated manufacturing or packaging environments.
• Previous experience with labeling, printing, packaging, production, inventory, warehouse operations, or other detail-oriented work.
