Packaging Operator - Medical Device Manufacturing (1st Shift)

Job Description Required Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Required Skills and Experience: Minimum of 6 months of industry work experience Strong attention to detail Ability to work effectively in a team environment Good documentation practices Familiarity with computers and general business software Ability and willingness to work flexible schedules, including static or rotating shifts and overtime as required Responsibilities: Manually inspect, label, and package clinical and commercial products Perform finished product packaging according to customer, internal, clinical, and other requirements Ensure finished products are packaged in accordance with established procedures and Quality specifications Inspect in-process packaging and components for consistent quality Identify and remove defective products and packaging materials Maintain timely and accurate documentation of manufacturing and packaging activities, including Device History Records (DHRs) and inventory counts Perform basic mathematical calculations required to complete batch records Assist with inventory counting activities as needed Participate in safety audits, daily safety discussions, and safety observations Perform routine cleaning of packaging stations and processing equipment Follow all personal protective equipment (PPE) and product contamination control/gowning requirements Handle hazardous waste appropriately
