Packaging Shipping Control - 2nd/Wknd

Position Summary

The Package Shipping Associate is responsible for wrapping, labeling, and preparing machined parts and assemblies for shipment. This position ensures all products are packaged safely and delivered to customers on time.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Wrap box and secure finished parts and assemblies for shipment • Select proper packing materials to protect products during transport • Verify shipment accuracy and complete necessary documentation • Label and stage orders for pickup or delivery • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment • Work collaboratively with production and quality teams to meet shipping schedules

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED or equivalent Preferred:

• Six months to one year related experience and/or training
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to lift and move boxes up to 50 lbs
• Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Able to work independently or as part of a team
• Prior experience in shipping, packaging, or manufacturing preferred
• Basic computer and labeling system knowledge a plus
