Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Packaging/Shipping Technician to support production, shipping, and inventory operations in a printed circuit board manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for receiving materials, maintaining accurate inventory, moving products throughout the facility, and preparing finished goods for shipment while following established safety and quality standards

 

Job Description

  • Load, unload, and transport raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility.
  • Operate manual and electric pallet jacks to safely move heavy product racks and materials.
  • Receive, inspect, count, and stock incoming raw materials.
  • Receive and inspect returned materials, verify warranty information, and process returns.
  • Deliver manufacturing materials to production areas and finished goods to shipping according to standard procedures.
  • Complete inventory transactions accurately, documenting the receipt, movement, storage, and shipment of materials.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy by following established warehouse procedures, including cycle counting, FIFO practices, proper labeling, shelf-life management, and Min/Max inventory levels.
  • Read and interpret pick tickets and shipping orders to ensure accurate material selection and shipment.
  • Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, reel counters, and torque drills.
  • Follow all workplace safety policies and procedures, including dock safety and proper material handling techniques.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

 

Skills Required

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, shipping and receiving, or material handling environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations.
  • Experience operating manual and electric pallet jacks.
  • Ability to accurately complete inventory and shipping documentation.
  • Ability to read and interpret pick tickets and work orders with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and experience operating hand tools such as torque drills is a plus.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods on concrete floors.
  • Regular pushing and pulling of heavy product racks using manual or electric pallet jacks.
  • Frequent lifting and carrying of materials weighing 20 pounds or more.
  • Ability to climb, bend, reach, stoop, and perform repetitive motions throughout the workday.
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing and loading dock environment with exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, operating machinery, varying temperatures, and other industrial conditions.
  • Ability to maintain focus while performing detailed inventory and documentation tasks.

 

Education

  • Highschool diploma or GED

 

Pay Rate

  • $20.90 per hour (Compensation is offered based on experience, skills, and market factors)
