Packaging Team Leader / Production Supervisor | Food Manufacturing

Salary: $75,000-$85,000 + 8% Target Bonus

BlackRock Resources is seeking experienced Packaging Team Leaders / Production Supervisors for a well-established food manufacturing operation located just outside Atlanta, GA.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on manufacturing leader who knows how to keep production moving, develop employees, solve problems on the floor, and maintain high standards for SQF, GMPs, food safety, quality, and workplace safety.

What You'll Lead

• Supervise, coach, train, and develop production and packaging employees
• Manage the flow of product from production through packaging and into the warehouse
• Keep packaging operations running safely and efficiently while meeting production and quality goals
• Ensure compliance with SQF, GMP, food safety, sanitation, and quality standards
• Monitor production performance and quickly address issues impacting safety, quality, output, or efficiency
• Assign work and coordinate staffing based on daily production requirements
• Interview, train, evaluate, recognize, and coach employees
• Address employee concerns and performance issues while building a positive, accountable team
• Partner with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, Sanitation, and other departments to keep operations running smoothly
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe manufacturing environment
• Help build a strong culture of safety, food safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement

What We're Looking For

• Previous production, packaging, or manufacturing supervisory experience
• Food or beverage manufacturing experience strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of SQF, GMPs, food safety, sanitation, and quality requirements
• Experience leading employees in a fast-paced production or packaging environment
• Strong people leadership with the ability to train, coach, and develop employees
• Ability to troubleshoot production challenges and make sound decisions on the floor
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant manufacturing leadership experience

Schedule & Flexibility

Current openings are for 1st and 2nd shift. Candidates should be flexible and willing to provide coverage across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts based on operational needs.

Weekend coverage may also be required on a rotating basis when overtime is needed.

The goal is not simply to fill a shift. We're looking for versatile manufacturing leaders who can step in where needed, support their teams, and help keep operations running successfully.
