Packaging Technician History:Lift Bridge Brewing Co (LBBC) is a production brewery located in the birthplace of Minnesota, Stillwater.DescriptionThe Lift Bridge production team is looking for the right person to grow with us. We are seeking a person who is outgoing, quality and safety minded, hard-working, a self starter and of high character. Previous packaging and warehouse experience is required.Qualifications:Must be able to lift 55lbs and move 165lbs occasionallyMust be able to stand for 8-10 hours per dayEffectively multi-task, critically think and have problem solving capabilitiesComputerliterate/comfortable using Google platform Experience driving a forkliftWork a flexible work schedule with little supervisionMust have excellent time management skillsMechanically inclined Hard work ethic and positive attitudeMust be able to communicate effectivelyJob Responsibilities:Preparation of materials for productionThe setup, operation, and tear-down of a semi-automated can filler, bottle filler, keg filler, large format bottle filler, can filler, labeler and all associated equipmentAccurate record keepingMaintaining a clean, safe, and organized work areaQA testing related to the packaging process Conducting regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of all packaging equipmentAdhering to established safety protocol while promoting a culture of safety awarenessContributing to an atmosphere of teamwork within the department and throughout the companyCommunicating with other departments to ensure the needs of the packaging schedule and quality standards have been metDouble checking of tank volumes, beer parameters, and scheduling requests related to the day's production needsCommunicating department concerns, needs, suggest and implement process improvements.
