Packaging Technician – Manufacturing (Full-Time)

Join Placon Corporation as a Full-Time Packaging Technician and become part of a fast-paced manufacturing team focused on quality packaging, safety, and operational excellence. Compensation

Starting pay of $17.00 per hour.

• Team Members working 2nd shift qualify for .50 cents per hour.
• Team members working 3rd shift quality for .75 cents per hour.

Work Schedule

• 1st shift 7am-3pm (Mon – Fri)
• 2nd Shift 3pm–11pm (Mon – Fri)
• 3rd Shift 11pm-7am (Sun – Thurs)

What You'll Do

• Set up and operate packaging equipment and machinery in a manufacturing environment
• Perform product inspection and quality control to ensure all packaging meets company standards
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines
• Maintain production efficiency to meet daily output and performance goals
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth production and packaging operations
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations

What You Bring

• Previous experience in manufacturing, packaging, or production environments preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality inspections
• Ability to operate or learn packaging machines and production equipment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production goals
