Packaging Technician – Medical Device (GMP Environment)
Position Summary
The Packaging Technician is responsible for the packaging, labeling, and inspection of medical device products in a regulated GMP environment. This role ensures all productsare packaged accurately and in compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards while following established procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Package and label finished medical device products according to approved work instructions and specifications
Verify product information including lot numbers, expiration dates, and label accuracy
Perform visual inspections to ensure products meet quality and compliance requirements
Complete batch records, packaging logs, and documentation accurately and in a timely manner
Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), SOPs, and regulatory requirements during packaging activities
Maintain a clean, organized work environment in accordance with cleanroom and GMP standards
Identify and report product defects, deviations, or non-conformances to supervision or Quality Assurance
Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of work areas and equipment
Assist with inventory control of packaging materials and supplies
Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
1–2+ years of experience in packaging, manufacturing, or production environment
Experience working in a GMP, FDA-regulated, or ISO-controlled environment preferred
Ability to follow detailed SOPs and work instructions
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Basic computer skills for documentation and recordkeeping

This is a Permanent position based out of Wyckoff, NJ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
