Packaging Technician – Medical Device (GMP Environment)

Position Summary

The Packaging Technician is responsible for the packaging, labeling, and inspection of medical device products in a regulated GMP environment. This role ensures all productsare packaged accurately and in compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards while following established procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Package and label finished medical device products according to approved work instructions and specifications

  • Verify product information including lot numbers, expiration dates, and label accuracy

  • Perform visual inspections to ensure products meet quality and compliance requirements

  • Complete batch records, packaging logs, and documentation accurately and in a timely manner

  • Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), SOPs, and regulatory requirements during packaging activities

  • Maintain a clean, organized work environment in accordance with cleanroom and GMP standards

  • Identify and report product defects, deviations, or non-conformances to supervision or Quality Assurance

  • Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of work areas and equipment

  • Assist with inventory control of packaging materials and supplies

  • Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • 1–2+ years of experience in packaging, manufacturing, or production environment

  • Experience working in a GMP, FDA-regulated, or ISO-controlled environment preferred

  • Ability to follow detailed SOPs and work instructions

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

  • Basic computer skills for documentation and recordkeeping

This is a Permanent position based out of Wyckoff, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
