Job Summary

The Packer is responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of finished goods by adhering to standard operating procedures. This role involves placing goods into their correct containers and preparing them for shipment using various equipment, while meeting or exceeding productivity standards.

Responsibilities

• Start and stop the pack station.
• Understand safety rules and quality requirements related to the pack station operations.
• Meet or exceed established productivity standards.
• Perform quality audits on finished goods and accurately record production efficiencies.
• Ensure packed products conform to the order screen.
• Isolate damaged items to a predefined area and report them to supervisors.
• Ensure boxes are marked and labeled appropriately.
• Scan packed boxes and validate packing label information.
• Seal packed boxes.
• Report any errors in product selection and quantity to the supervisor or coordinator immediately.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical computations.
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions with training.
