SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Warehouse Associates for a manufacturing client in Pleasant Prairie, WI. We are seeking dependable and safety-conscious Packaging Associates to join our team. This role involves performing physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will be able to work efficiently, communicate effectively, and follow all safety procedures.
SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($16.31-$17.71/hr). As well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).
*Pay increase after 30 consecutive days*
Available shifts include:
1st Shift - 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM (Saturday & Sunday)
Training Schedule: Must work workdays until fully trained.
Responsibilities of the Packaging Associate:
- Perform heavy-duty physical tasks involving frequent standing and walking
- Lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required
- Operate around moving mechanical parts and heavy machinery safely
- Follow written and verbal instructions accurately
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
Physical Requirements:The physical demands described below are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position:
- Frequent standing and walking throughout the shift
- Ability to exert:
- Up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
- Up to 25 pounds of force frequently
- Up to 10 pounds of force constantly
- Specific vision abilities required include:
- Close vision
- Distance vision
- Color vision
- Peripheral vision
- Depth perception
- Ability to adjust focus
- Corrected visual acuity to 20/20
- Physical agility to move quickly and safely around moving mechanical parts and heavy machinery
