TITLE: Packer B

POSITION OBJECTIVE: Safely and efficiently package finished products according to production and quality standards while maintaining a clean, organized work area and supporting the overall productivity of the production team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma/GED is preferredMust demonstrate good oral and written communication skillsExperience in manufacturing environment with packaging is preferredEnsure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessaryCapable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Must follow all plant policies, procedures, and safety rules & regulations, whether written or communicated verballyMaintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area in accordance with plant housekeeping standardsPerform required inspections and monitor product quality to ensure customer specifications are metProperly package and prepare finished goods for shipment to customersAccurately complete required paperwork and documentation in a timely mannerAttend and actively participate in required safety training and other training programsPerform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by designated personnel

WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION:

Inside environmental conditions, protected from weather conditions, not necessarily temperature conditionsSubject to elevated noise, causing reason to shout in order to be hard above the noise level.Subject to vibration, exposure fluctuating movements of the body.
