Job Title: Packer / Preparation Assistant

Pay: $16/hr.

Job Summary:

The Packer is responsible for preparing and packaging meals according to established guidelines, ensuring quality, freshness, and proper portioning. This role supports efficient kitchen operations and helps maintain food safety and cleanliness standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and assemble lunches based on menus or customer orders

Portion food items accurately and consistently

Package meals neatly and securely for transport or distribution

Label containers with appropriate information (e.g., date, contents, dietary notes)

Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen areas

Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations

Monitor inventory and report low supplies to supervisors

Assist with basic food prep tasks (e.g., washing produce, making sandwiches)

Requirements:

Ability to follow instructions and standardized recipes

Strong attention to detail and organization skills

Basic knowledge of food safety practices

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Good time management skills
