General Labor Services is seeking a detail-oriented Packer/Inspector in the Elkton, MD Area:
Duties:
Follows all safety procedures and regulations. Wears appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for the job. Notifies management of any discrepancies, equipment malfunction and/or personal injuries immediately. Completes all tasks in a timely and efficient manner. Maintains a safe, clean and organized work environment. Operates small equipment such as floor sweeper, floor cleaner, clicker press, and roller die cutter. Follows portion and quality control standards per product specifications. Follows packaging requirements per product specification. Follows company procedures to provide identification and traceability through accurate labeling. Performs quality control inspection criteria per product specification when required. Accurately records production information on appropriate forms when operating the clicker press or roller die cutter. Performs physical inventory of production to reconcile daily production numbers. Visually inspects product to ensure quality criteria is met. Performs product re-work or re-inspection as required. Performs regularly scheduled cleaning duties per company standards. Assembles cartons, inserts liners and assists in staging production supplies as needed. Scheduled:
