Position: Packer Location: Melrose Park, IL, 60160
Duration: 3+ Month Contract with possibility of extension and FTE
Shift: 2nd shift is from (1:45 PM to 10:15 PM) Payrate: $20.75/hour ($19 base pay + $1.75 shift differential)
Job Summary
Responsible for packaging on various packaging machinery to maintain a steady flow of production.
This may involve traying-on, traying-off, nano-packaging, and moving pallets.
Must follow SOPs and any departmental procedures.
Recommend improvements and identify potential problems which could affect operations, both personnel and equipment related.
Principal Activities Performed by the Incumbent
Performs inspection of labeled vials, lot numbers, expiration dates, inserts, trays, partitions, shippers, packing and palletizing shipper packs.
Must maintain log in ability on packaging lines.
Performs skilled training for aggregation of shippers.
Must be qualified to work on high-speed automated inspection equipment (AIM).
Performs and documents line clearances before and after the running of a production lot.
Will work on assembly lines with high-speed equipment with Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) applications.

Responsible for complying with all SOPs and cGMPs including all required training modules.
Maintains a clean and organized work environment and strives to meet daily goals.
Makes minor adjustments and assists with changeover and set-up to equipment, as necessary.
Assures the correct set-up and operation of all packaging equipment except the Labeler.
Education and Experience (required)
High school diploma or GED required.
Must be capable of lifting to 40 lbs. of various packaging/inspection materials and equipment, and transporting objects up to 80 lbs.
Must be able to perform repetitive work with machinery, which typically produces anywhere from 150 400 units per minute.
Must have the ability to focus on details for periods of time (e.g., visual inspection, labeling).
Ability to move pallets of material with manual and battery-operated pallet jacks is strongly preferred.
