Packer, 1st Shift – 6:00am – 4:00pm Monday - Thursday
The Packer is responsible for executing daily packaging activities and ensuring all medical packaging products are correctly processed, verified, and packed to meet company, customer, and ISO quality standards within a cleanroom manufacturing environment. This role focuses on maintaining production efficiency, quality compliance, and accurate documentation during the final stage of manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
• Pack finished medical packaging products according to specifications and customer requirements.
• Verify labels, part numbers, and packaging configurations against production orders before boxing.
• Perform routine visual inspections, seal checks, and quality verifications during the packing process.
• Ensure all packing records, SAP entries, and count documentation are completed accurately.
• Train new packers on packing procedures, quality standards, and cleanroom practices.
• Communicate quality defects, material shortages, and production issues to operators and supervisors.
• Maintain a steady packing pace to support production schedules and minimize downtime.
• Follow strict compliance guidelines for GMP, ISO, FDA, and company quality procedures.
• Support line clearance, product changeovers, and continuous improvement initiatives on the floor.
• Maintain a safe work environment while enforcing cleanroom and PPE requirements.
Physical Requirements
• Continuous standing and walking for the duration of an assigned shift.
• Ability to safely lift and carry materials weighing up to 35–50 pounds.
• Frequent bending, reaching, grasping, and twisting while handling sensitive product for delivery to customers
• Capacity to wear standard Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, hairnets, and protective footwear.
