We are hiring a Packer / Press Operator to support high-speed metal stamping and packaging operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for operating press equipment, packaging finished products, monitoring quality, and maintaining production efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Operate high-speed stamping presses and auxiliary equipment
Package metal connector plates and steel components manually and with automated systems
Monitor product quality and minimize waste
Report machine issues or malfunctions to maintenance or supervisors
Assist mechanics with equipment troubleshooting and repairs as needed
Label and prepare finished products for shipment
Meet daily production and safety goals
Complete accurate production reporting
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required
Basic math skills including fractions and decimals
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Previous manufacturing or forklift experience is a plus, but not required
Basic computer skills helpful
Additional Information:
Regular attendance and punctuality are required
Overtime may be required based on production needs
