9:00 pm - 5:30 am OR 11:00 pm - 5:30 am

Weekend Positions (Friday - Sunday, 5:15 AM to 5:45 PM.)
1st Shift: Monday - Friday 5:15 AM to 3:45 PM!)

A local production company is looking to add Packers to work the Packing lines! Press Operators for production. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity for someone looking to join a family and team-oriented environment. 

In this production role, you will be completing various duties such as running a press machine, loading and unloading press machine, checking the quality of the product, and other duties as assigned. 

Responsibilities:

  • Support the production of safe, high-quality products and team member safety.

  • Must have a completed High School Diploma, HSE, or GED.

  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.

  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended amounts of time as well as maintain footing on concrete floors.

  • Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 30-50 lbs. on a regular basis

  • Must be able to follow verbal and written directions

  • Complies with GMP, food safety, and safety standards at all times

  • Must be reliable, dependable and be able to work in a team environment

  • Some positions will require working in an extreme environment of -20 degrees.

  • Must know proper lifting and bending techniques.

  • Possess good basic math skills.

  • Responsible for following all Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMP's).


The Press Operator is responsible for the overall efficient operation of the press, which includes, but is not limited to:

  • Monitoring the production process to assure quality product per customer specifications.

  • Complying with plant policies, safety, and E.P.A. regulations

  • Ensuring productivity goals are met for the department/machine by monitoring run speeds, set-up times, and coordination of support departments.

  • Achieving or exceeding waste goals per machine/department through inspections, good procedures, and accurate reporting

  • Cross-training will be done for ALL associates

  • Communicating orally and/or in writing via e-mail to other departments for the resolution of mechanical problems, reporting defective material, coordination of job preparations, changeovers, and daily shift information.
