Job Summary

The General Packer is responsible for efficiently packing finished products according to company standards for quality, accuracy, and safety. This position supports production operations by ensuring products are properly inspected, packed, labeled, and prepared for shipment during the 3rd shift.

Key Responsibilities

Pack finished products into cartons or containers according to specifications
Inspect products for defects and report quality issues to a supervisor
Label packages accurately and ensure correct quantities
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures
Assist with basic machine operation or material handling as needed
Meet productivity and quality expectations for the shift
Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors
Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred
Previous manufacturing or packing experience is a plus, but not required
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Reliable attendance and punctuality, especially for overnight shifts
