The Panther Group is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Packer to join a growing manufacturing and production team. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced environment and take pride in accuracy, organization, and quality.

The Packer plays an important role in preparing products for storage and shipment while ensuring quality standards are met throughout the packaging process.
What You’ll Do
  • Pack products and components according to shipping and packaging specifications
  • Prepare items for storage or shipment using boxes, cartons, crates, and other shipping materials
  • Seal, label, glue, tape, band, or secure shipping containers to ensure safe transport
  • Assemble shipping containers and packaging materials as needed
  • Perform visual and basic mechanical inspections of products before packaging
  • Maintain inspection and packaging logs accurately
  • Identify and escalate quality concerns to the Production Supervisor
  • Keep workstations, tools, and equipment clean and organized
  • Support additional production and packaging duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good hand dexterity and ability to handle small components
  • Ability to follow packaging instructions and quality procedures
  • Dependable work ethic and strong time management skills
  • Comfortable performing repetitive tasks in a production environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Manufacturing or warehouse experience is helpful but not required
Qualifications
  • No formal education required
  • 0–1 year of manufacturing, warehouse, packaging, or production experience preferred
  • Willingness to learn through on-the-job training
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 25 pounds occasionally
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to perform repetitive packing and inspection tasks
  • Strong visual attention to detail for inspections and packaging accuracy
Pay $17.50 per hour
