Now hiring for a Packing Associate

Location: Jurupa Valley, CA

Pay Rate: $18.15 per hour

Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday | 2:30 AM - 10:30 AM

Overtime and weekend hours available as needed

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Basic math skills preferred
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus

Experience Requirements

  • Entry-level candidates encouraged to apply
  • Previous packing, production, warehouse, or manufacturing experience is a plus
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced food production environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
  • Ability to follow GMP, SQF, USDA, and company safety guidelines

Job Duties

  • Support the packing team by pulling, staging, organizing, and casing finished products
  • Count, pack, seal, label, and prepare products for shipment
  • Verify date codes, weights, and packaging information against production schedules
  • Inspect products to ensure they meet quality and customer requirements
  • Ensure pouches and packaging are properly sealed
  • Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary work areas
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), SQF, and USDA guidelines
  • Verify equipment is operating properly and report any issues
  • Assist team members in completing daily production goals
  • Follow all safety procedures and work instructions

Physical Capabilities

  • Frequent lifting, packing, pulling, labeling, and organizing of products
  • Ability to stand for the entire shift
  • Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive motions
  • Ability to work in a production environment while maintaining safety and quality standards

What You Will Do

As a Packing Associate you will support daily manufacturing operations by assembling products, operating production equipment, inspecting finished goods, packaging materials, maintaining production standards, and following established work instructions. You will help keep production areas clean and organized, monitor product quality, meet production goals, and contribute to safe, efficient manufacturing operations.

The Packing Associate plays an important role in manufacturing by supporting production processes that transform raw materials into finished products. This position requires attention to detail, dependability, and the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced production environments.

Successful Packing Associate candidates understand manufacturing procedures, workplace safety, production quality, and teamwork while supporting efficient daily operations. Consistent performance contributes directly to operational success.
