Position Overview
The Packing / General Labor role is responsible for packing and loading school furniture for shipment in a fast-paced environment. This Packing / General Labor position requires physical stamina, teamwork, and the ability to work efficiently on short notice. The ideal Packing / General Labor candidate is dependable, hardworking, and ready to jump in when needed.
Required Experience & Skills
Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment
Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team setting
Willingness to work on a stand-by/on-call basis
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Pack and prepare furniture for shipment
Load items safely and efficiently
Work with team members to meet production and shipping goals
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
Work Environment
Non-climate controlled warehouse environment
Physically demanding role requiring lifting, standing, and movement throughout shift
Fast-paced setting with team-based workflow
Additional Information
