Packing Line Assistant

Pay Rate : $ 18.56/ hour | Full-Time | Ypsilanti, MI

Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Packing Line Assistant:

#1. Must have basic computer skills

#2. Must have ability to use electric and manual pallet jack.

#3. Must have at least a year of manufacturing floor exp.

#4. No more than 3 jobs over the past 8yrs.

Responsibilities for the Packing Line Assistant:

The Packing line Assistant serves as an assistant to the Packing Line 1st Operator and has the responsibility of making sure the game is packaged and stacked according to customer specifications. They achieve this by scanning cartons to ensure the content is correct and inspecting the front and back of tickets when missed by the automation line to make certain the books are broken properly.

Requirements for the Packing Line Assistant:

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED Experience:
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work for sustained periods of time, walking and standing and lifting up to 35 lbs.
• Understanding of and consistent adherence to Health & Safety, Quality and Security standards
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and work on a team
• Basic computer skills Other:
• Meets attendance criteria as noted in APP

Additional Qualifications Required:

• Ability to use manual and electric pallet jack
• Demonstrated ability to pay attention to detail and produce accurate work
• Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, and maintain productivity to meet production deadlines
• Prior packaging experience
• Willingness to cross train others
