Seeking a Cardiology PACS Admin to manage and optimize the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) for a 14-hospital network undergoing a Fuji Synapse PACS upgrade (v6.4 to v7.2) and SQL-to-Oracle migration. The role involves system design, workflow optimization, technical maintenance, user training, and data management. Future integration will unify Radiology and Cardiology PACS into a single VNA system at Ohio Health.
- Strong expertise in PACS administration, imaging modalities, and system integration.
- Experience with Fuji Synapse PACS, SQL-to-Oracle migration, and VNA systems.
- Familiarity with cardiology workflows and medical imaging.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Design and implement PACS systems for cardiac imaging (echocardiograms, angiograms, stress tests).
- Optimize clinical workflows and develop reporting templates.
- Perform system maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
- Train and support cardiology staff on PACS functionality.
- Ensure data integrity, storage management, and regulatory compliance.
- Support integration of new modalities to PACS.
