Pay rate: $53.60/hour

What Youll Do
Provide post-anesthesia care for pediatric and adult patients in a high-volume surgical setting
Monitor patients in pre-op, Phase I, and Phase II recovery areas
Support patients undergoing regional anesthesia and special procedures
Float to pediatric PACU as needed, maintaining flexibility in patient care
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and comfort
Utilize equipment like Hoyer lifts, bladder scanners, and Accuvein during patient care
Maintain patient ratios of 1:2, providing attentive post-op nursing care
Support cases in multiple ORs across two floors with diverse surgical specialties
What You Need
Valid Louisiana RN license or eligibility
ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
At least 1 year of PACU or Pre/Post-Op nursing experience; critical care experience preferred
Ability to float to pediatric PACU when necessary
Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills

Youll be part of a dedicated team caring for all ages in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high-quality recovery experiences for every patient.
