What Youll Do
Provide high-quality care to patients recovering from surgery in a busy PACU setting
Float to pediatric PACU as needed, supporting patients of all ages
Monitor patient statuses, manage vital signs, and respond to emergencies efficiently
Support pre-op, phase I, and phase II recovery activities
Operate and troubleshoot specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts, bladder scanners, and Accuvein
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including anesthesia and surgical staff
Document care in Epic EMR accurately and efficiently
What You Need
Active RN license in Louisiana or compact state
ACLS, BCLS, PALS certifications (current)
1+ years of PACU or Pre/Post-Op nursing experience preferred
Ability to float to pediatric PACU and manage patients of all ages
Strong communication and teamwork skills
