Job Description
A hospital in Los Alamos, NM is seeking a mid-level Registered Nurse (RN) to join its Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). This is an in-person, on-site position requiring regular reporting to the facility. Partial relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.
The role. The PACU RN is responsible for monitoring and caring for patients recovering from anesthesia following surgical or procedural interventions. Core duties include assessing patient status post-procedure, managing pain and comfort, and ensuring safe patient transitions out of the recovery unit in accordance with established clinical protocols.
What we're looking for.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing
- Active and unencumbered RN License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- 1+ years of experience working in a PACU setting
Compensation. $65,000 - $75,000 per year
