Role: Paediatric Audiologist
Location: Remote for now

Responsibilities & Duties
Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments for infants, children, and adolescents
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients with hearing impairments
Fit and program hearing aids and other auditory assistive devices
Provide auditory rehabilitation and counseling to children and their families
Collaborate with pediatricians, speech-language pathologists, and educational professionals to ensure holistic care
Perform newborn hearing screenings
Maintain detailed records of patient assessments, treatments, and progress
Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in pediatric audiology
Educate parents and caregivers on hearing loss prevention and management
Advocate for early intervention and support services for children with hearing loss
Participate in community outreach programs to raise awareness about pediatric hearing health
Qualifications & Skills
Experience working with children and adolescents
Certification in Paediatric Audiology
Proficiency in using a variety of audiometric equipment
Strong counselling and communication skills
Familiarity with auditory-verbal therapy techniques
Commitment to continuing education and professional development
Bilingual or multilingual abilities
Knowledge of cochlear implants and other advanced auditory devices
Master's or Doctoral degree in Audiology
State licensure to practice Audiology
Clinical experience in pediatric audiology
Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities
Completion of a Clinical Fellowship in Audiology (if applicable)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Knowledge of hearing aid fitting and programming
Ability to work effectively with children of various ages and developmental stages
