Pay range: $44/hr - $46/hr W2
 
Work Arrangement:

  • Hybrid schedule: Onsite Monday through Thursday in Washington, DC, with remote work on Fridays.
 
Position Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Paid Media Manager to audit, rebuild, and optimize subscription acquisition campaigns across paid social channels, primarily Meta (Facebook/Instagram), with TikTok experience being a plus. This role will evaluate existing campaign performance, identify optimization opportunities, redesign campaign architecture, and implement best practices to improve efficiency and subscriber acquisition. The ideal candidate will also document processes and train the internal marketing team to ensure long-term success after the engagement.
Key Responsibilities
  • Audit existing paid social account structure, campaign setup, audience targeting, creative, and measurement to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
  • Redesign campaign architecture, including campaign structure, budget allocation, bidding strategy, audience segmentation, and full-funnel optimization using first-party data.
  • Develop and execute a structured A/B testing framework for creatives, audiences, placements, and offers with defined success metrics.
  • Review and optimize tracking and attribution setup, including Meta Pixel, Conversions API, and event tracking.
  • Build and launch restructured campaigns directly within advertising platforms.
  • Monitor campaign performance and optimize against subscription acquisition KPIs, including CPA and ROAS.
  • Document campaign structure, testing methodologies, optimization processes, and best practices.
  • Train and mentor internal marketing team members on campaign management, testing strategies, and platform best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, creative, analytics, and lifecycle marketing teams.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience managing paid social campaigns focused on subscription or membership acquisition.
  • Strong expertise with Meta Ads Manager, including campaign structure, bidding strategies, Advantage+ campaigns, Conversions API, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with TikTok Ads Manager is preferred.
  • Proven experience designing and executing structured creative and audience testing programs.
  • Strong understanding of subscription marketing metrics, including CPA, LTV, ROAS, and trial-to-paid conversion optimization.
  • Experience training or mentoring internal marketing teams.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
Preferred Background
  • Experience supporting subscription-based businesses in industries such as media, publishing, streaming, digital products, or similar consumer subscription services.
