Pain Medicine Nurse Practitioner

Location: Waldorf and Prince Frederick, Maryland

Newbridge Spine & Pain Center specializes in interventional pain management, offering advanced treatments and technologies to address chronic and acute pain conditions. Our expert team includes board-certified anesthesiologists, physician assistants, and certified nurse practitioners dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Split time between our Waldorf and Prince Frederick locations.
  • Conduct new patient evaluations, follow-up visits, and post-operative assessments for patients aged 18 and older.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Perform trigger point injections (training provided if no prior experience).
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with clinical protocols.
  • Work full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekends or on-call duties.

Qualifications

  • Board certification as an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
  • Active Maryland state license or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Minimum of one year post-graduate experience in Pain Medicine (preferred) or in Primary Care, Orthopedics, Neurology, or Urgent Care settings.
  • Open to New Grads with prior healthcare backgrounds
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

The salary range for this role is $120,000-$135,000 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or available benefits (medical, dental, vision, life, , 401K, paid time off, and/or other wellness programs). The base pay offered will be determined based on relevant factors such as experience, education, and geographic location and benefits vary by practice.
