Position: Paint Estimator
Reports To: Department Operations Manager

Painter Estimator Position Overview:
The Paint & Stain Estimator is responsible for evaluating residential and commercial painting and staining projects and preparing accurate, competitive cost estimates. This role involves meeting with clients, assessing project scope, performing site visits, calculating labor and material costs, and collaborating with operations teams to ensure successful project execution. The ideal candidate combines strong technical knowledge of painting and staining processes with excellent customer service and sales skills.

Ability to safely communicate real-time coordination with customers and internal team.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Experience using the equipment required for the job including but not limited to masking tape and sheets, paint brushes, and paint sprayers.
Required Safety Equipment provided by Employer including but not limited to gloves, respirator mask, eye protection.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
A. Environmental Conditions
• Work in an office environment using different technologies
• Exposure to paint, stain, varnish, and solvent fumes during daily work
• Outdoor weather conditions
B. Noise
• Exposure to light noise while working near light traffic.
WORK HOURS:
Employees will be provided with their schedule based on the available schedules outlined in our Alternative Workweek Agreement. Schedules are subject to change based on company need with minimal notice.
