What you will be doing:
  • Online Robot Programming Sealer, UBC, and Dampening
    • Perform online robot programming for Sealer, UBC, and Dampening applications.
    • Run trials and adjust process parameters as required.
    • Evaluate quality against drawings and ensure compliance with standards.
  • Online Robot Programming Primer, Base and Clear
    • Perform online robot programming for Primer, Base, and Clear coat applications.
    • Run trials and adjust process parameters as required.
    • Evaluate quality against drawings and ensure compliance with standards.
  • Offline Robot Programming
    • Use simulation software to perform reach studies and cycle time analysis.
    • Knowledge of Fanuc Paint Pro and Kawasaki Carott3 programming software.
  • Evaluate Quality
    • Use Elcometers, Wave-Scan, and X-Rite equipment to evaluate paint quality and process performance.
  • Create Hand Over Documents
    • Create process snapshots and documentation of robot operations for NAMCs.
  • Effective Communications
    • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
    • Communicate effectively through written documentation and correspondence.
What you'll need to be successful:
Essential:
  • Experience with automated robotic paint shop applications.
  • Experience with Kawasaki Robots, Fanuc Robots (programming and problem troubleshooting).
  • Experience with Digital Engineering.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
  • Creative problem solver who thrives when presented with a challenge.
  • Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions.
  • Flexible and able to multitask on several different aspects of a project or on multiple projects.
  • Able to take initiative to recommend projects, product improvements, or cost reductions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • 2 years technical degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Additional related certifications.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent experience.
