Starting Pay: $26.46 + $2.00 shift differential = $28.46

3rd Shift: Sunday - Friday 10:00pm - 6:00am

What Will You Do?

In order to grow and build a successful career with Exmark, you will be responsible for:

  • Operates/adjusts the manual and automatic powder coat equipment to meet company paint and quality specifications.

  • Installs, maintains and repairs the equipment/system following specific codes, manuals, diagrams, blueprints, etc., using hand tools, power tools, electrical and electronic test equipment (i.e. amp meter).

  • Replaces faulty components such as relays, switches, motors and sensing devices using hand tools; diagnoses, repairs and replaces.

  • Develops a preventive maintenance service log and schedule for the powder coat equipment and system and maintains the equipment accordingly.

  • Adjusts thermostat to maintain specified temperature in wash tanks.

  • Inspects painted units for runs sags and unpainted areas.

  • Cleans paint from ceiling and walls of booth, conveyor hooks or grid, from disks, cones, spray heads and hoses.

  • Performs visual checks of quality of parts being hung.

  • Operates forklift and performs daily checks as required by OSHA regulations.

  • Loads and moves materials to work area.

  • Maintains proper chemical balance in tanks. Checks titration as required. Documents result for E.P.A. log.

  • Maintains individual P.P.E.

  • Completes necessary paperwork. Inventories paint and chemicals on a monthly basis.

  • Develops racks for maximum benefit.

  • Performs periodic maintenance and minor repairs as needed.

  • Maintains a clean and safe working environment, and other housekeeping as required

  • Continually strives to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product.

  • Willingly performs other duties as assigned by supervisors.

What Do You Need?

To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:

  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
