Phillips Staffing is seeking a 1st shift an experienced Wood Painter/Finisher to join the team at company in Fountain Inn that specializes in retail interior décor including the design, manufacturing, and installation! Responsibilities:
Apply latex or lacquer-based coatings to various substrates.
Maintain material workflow in a productive manner and complete tasks in a timely manner with attention to quality and detail.
Stay on feet throughout the day with general pushing, pulling, lifting, and bending required.
Spray lacquers, stain, and paint.
Knowledge of wood products and finish.
Use and maintain airless paint equipment and cup-type spray guns.
Use variety of hand tools.
Perform maintenance on spray equipment and keep finishing products in inventory.
Turn in time sheets daily with correct Work Order numbers, time per job, and material used per job.
Keep safe and clean work area.
Requirements:
3-5 years’ experience in finishing wood products.
Must have strong finishing/staining experience with wood products.
Previous experience in industrial painting.
Ability to handle physical workload
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Shift Schedule: 1st Shift- 10 hour shifts Monday-Thursday starting at either 6 or 7 a.m. The schedule on Fridays varies, but is typically shorter if scheduled to work. Pay Rate: $18.00-$22.00/Hour DOE #IND2
