Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Painters for projects located in or around theGreater Los Angeles and Orange Country, CA area. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $35-$40/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
- Apply primers, sealers, and specialty coatings to wood, metal, drywall, and concrete surfaces
- Perform surface preparation including scraping, sanding, wire brushing, and cleaning
- Repair drywall damage, patch holes, caulk joints, and apply waterproofing materials
- Install and repair wall coverings, decorative finishes, and specialty coatings
- Paint and finish commercial interiors and exteriors
- Work on active commercial projects including banks, restaurants, office buildings, and retail facilities
- Maintain quality workmanship while meeting project schedules
Requirements:
Must have personal hand tools including roller frames, covers, paint brushes (2½", 3", and 4"), putty knives, caulking gun, scrapers, sanding tools, utility knife, buckets, etc. (materials supplied by contractor)
- Must wear work-boots and Painters Whites are preferred
- 5+ years of commercial painting experience preferred
- Experience with wall coverings, decorative finishes, and restoration work
- Ability to work independently and from project specifications
- Reliable transportation to various job sites throughout LA and Orange County
- Must provide personal hand tools (materials supplied by contractor)
- Ability to work overtime and occasional 7-day schedules when project demands require
