Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Painter to join a manufacturing team in Claremore, OK. This role is responsible for preparing surfaces, applying protective coatings, and ensuring finished products meet quality, safety, and customer specifications.

The ideal Industrial Painter has experience with industrial coating applications, surface preparation techniques, and spray equipment operation while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality.
Required Experience & Skills
Previous industrial or commercial painting experience required
Knowledge of coatings, primers, surface preparation, and finishing techniques
Experience operating spray equipment including airless and conventional systems
Strong attention to detail and quality control standards
Understanding of safety regulations, PPE requirements, and hazardous material handling
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic REQUIRED
Ability to work in various environments, including heights, confined spaces, and outdoor conditions
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces through cleaning, sanding, blasting, masking, and priming processes
Apply paints, coatings, and protective finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
Mix paints, coatings, and related materials according to specifications
Inspect finished surfaces for quality, coverage, thickness, and defects
Read and follow blueprints, work orders, and coating specifications
Ensure proper curing and drying of coatings
Maintain painting equipment and perform routine cleaning and maintenance
Follow all safety procedures and environmental regulations
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Support production schedules while maintaining quality standards
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with industrial manufacturing or fabrication environments
Knowledge of coating thickness measurement tools and quality inspection processes
Experience working with specialized industrial coatings
Forklift or material handling experience is a plus
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work throughout the shift
Ability to lift and move materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
Ability to work in environments with fumes, dust, noise, and varying temperatures
Ability to wear required PPE including respirators when necessary
Work Environment
Manufacturing and industrial production environment
Exposure to paints, coatings, solvents, and related materials
Indoor and outdoor work conditions depending on project requirements
