Job Title: Painter - Industrial Pay: $15/HR Shift: Mon-Fri 7am-6pm and Saturday 7am-4pm Job Type: Temp to hire Location: Oklahoma City, 73179
Job Summary: Industrial Painter responsible for spray painting steel beams and structural building components in a covered outdoor environment while wearing a respirator and protective paint suit.
Your role includes: -Spray paint steel beams and structural steel building components using industrial spray equipment -Apply one or more specified coatings according to production requirements -Properly prep surfaces prior to painting -Wear required PPE including respirator and paint suit at all times -Maintain a clean and organized work area -Follow all OSHA and company safety guidelines -Assist with moving and positioning steel materials as needed
Must Have Qualifications: -Must be clean shaven to ensure proper respirator seal -Comfortable wearing a respirator and full paint suit for extended periods -Experience using industrial spray guns preferred -Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs -Previous experience working an industrial, construction, or general labor job -Additional education and/or certification in manufacturing -Able to follow all safety procedures
