Painter Journeyman

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES• Responsible for applying paint products to a variety of surfaces.• Preparing surfaces by washing, pressure washing, repairing drywall and similar surfaces as required.• Preparing surfaces by covering and maintaining a safe and clean workspace.• Removing fixtures such as doorknobs and light switch covers to protect prior to painting.• Masking, taping, cutting, rolling, spraying.• Mixing, matching, and applying paints and other finishes per project scope of work.• Perform duties in compliance with company policies, processes, and procedures.• Obtain/maintain tools and equipment as required on the company Mandatory Tool List.• Take direction from your supervisor.QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS• High school diploma/GED.
