Job Summary:
TRAIL-EZE is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Painter to help prepare, paint, and finish trailers and trailer components. This is an entry-level opportunity with training provided. Youll learn to use professional painting equipment and apply high-quality PPG paint products while developing valuable skills in a manufacturing environment.
No previous painting experience is required! A willingness to learn, good work ethic, and attention to detail are what matter most.
MondayThursday Daytime Hours 4-Day Work Week No Weekends No Overnight Shifts
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare trailer surfaces for painting by cleaning and ensuring proper readinessApply primers, paints, and other finishes using spray equipment, brushes, or rollersLearn to properly mix and apply PPG paint productsMonitor paint application and drying processesInspect painted surfaces for coverage, consistency, and overall finish qualityPerform touch-ups and corrections as neededLearn to safely operate and maintain painting and related equipmentWork on trailer frames, undersides, and components while ensuring proper coverageLift, push, and pull materials up to 50+ poundsClimb ladders and wear required PPE, including a full-face respiratorMaintain a strong attention to detail and commitment to qualityWork independently while also being a dependable member of the teamFollow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications and Skills:
High school diploma preferredNo previous painting experience requiredwe will train the right personAny painting, automotive, body shop, or manufacturing experience is a plus, but not requiredWillingness to learn and take directionStrong attention to detailDependable and hardworkingAbility to work independently and as part of a teamCommitment to workplace safety and proper PPE use
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
Manufacturing/shop environmentFrequent standing, bending, lifting, and working on laddersAbility to work on and around large equipment and trailer framesAbility to lift, push, and pull materials up to 50+ poundsSafe operation of painting and coating tools requiredRequired use of PPE, including a full-face respirator
