Industrial Painter

Pay: $23–$24 per hour
Schedule: Full-time, M-F 5am to 1:30pm

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Painter to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing industrial equipment and components to meet strict quality and customer specifications.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of painting experience (preferably aerospace), strong attention to detail, and takes pride in delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

Surface Preparation & Coating

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, masking, and blasting materials
• Mix paints, coatings, resins, and adhesives according to specifications
• Apply coatings using spray guns (gravity feed, siphon, and other equipment)
• Paint tanks, equipment, and manufactured components to customer specifications

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industrial, automotive, or aerospace painting experience (aerospace preferred)
• Experience using spray guns and industrial coating equipment
• Ability to read blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings
• Familiarity with paint thickness gauges and inspection tools
• Basic math skills (measurements, fractions, and decimals)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently or on a team
