Painter
Expected Pay Rate: $25 - $28 per hour

The Painter is responsible for preparing surfaces and applying primers, sealers, paints, and other protective and decorative finishes to manufactured products and construction supply. The Painter reads manufacturing and construction drawings and project specifications to select appropriate undercoats and topcoats (when not specified by the customer) and to phase and plan the painting work. The Painter ensures all coatings are applied accurately and consistently to meet quality standards, project specifications, and production schedules.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position does not require the supervision of direct reports.
Work Environment
This position operates in a professional office using standard office equipment, in warehouses, and on construction sites using standard tools of the trade.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to twist, turn, bend, lift, kneel, climb, and stand. Occasional lifting up to 75 lbs. may occur.
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, on-site, hourly position. Standard days and hours are 40 hours per week, with weekends and extended hours as needed. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, holidays, and weekends will be required based on business needs.
Travel
Occasional travel may be required.
